NOMINATION LONDON CRITICS CIRCLE FILM

Three Billboards de Martin McDonagh Outside Ebbing Missouri a été nominé sept fois par les meilleurs critiques de cinéma du Royaume-Uni, notamment dans les catégories Meilleur film, Réalisateur, Scénariste, Actrice (Frances McDormand) et Acteur de soutien (Sam Rockwell et Woody Harrelson). Le film, qui a été co-financé par Film4, se qualifie comme une production britannique et en tant que tel est nominé pour le film britannique / irlandais de l'année.

Lady Macbeth de William Oldroyd , le premier long métrage indépendant qui a récemment décroché un BIFA pour la meilleure actrice, et Phantom Thread de Focus de Paul Thomas Anderson ont chacun marqué six mentions. Quatre films ont reçu cinq nominations chacun: Call Me By Your Name de Luca Guagadino , Dunkirk , le drame de Christopher Nolan de la Seconde Guerre mondiale , Paddington 2 de Paul King et God's Own Country de Francis Lee, meilleur film des BIFA.

Les gagnants seront annoncés le 28 janvier au May Fair Hotel de Londres. Alice Lowe et Steve Oram seront les hôtes de la cérémonie, au cours de laquelle Kate Winslet recevra la plus haute distinction de la critique, le prix Dilys Powell pour l'excellence dans le cinéma
